Yonex’s newest badminton shoe is here, the Yonex Subaxia GT (Graphite Throttle). These are the first badminton shoe to feature Yonex’s Graphite Throttle Technology which is the combination of a graphite carbon plate and their new Power Cushion Rev material. Power Cushion Rev is the successor to Power Cushion + which has been in all of Yonex’s badminton shoes and according to Yonex’s testings outperforms standard power cushion when it comes to shock absorption, weight, and cushioning. There is definitely a huge upgrade in cushioning in these shoes and very different than any of the sheos in their current lineup. They will be available on January 28, 2026!
