Krezip is a Dutch pop-rock band from Tilburg, formed in 1997. The original lineup featured lead vocalist and pianist Jacqueline Govaert, her sister Anne Govaert on guitar, Annelies Kuijsters on keyboards and vocals, Joost van Haaren on bass, and Bram van den Berg on drums. The band gained national prominence in 2000 after a standout performance at the Pinkpop festival, notably with their hit single "I Would Stay," which became a major success in the Netherlands. Following their breakthrough, Krezip released several successful albums, including "Nothing Less" (2000), "Days Like This" (2002), and "Plug It In" (2007). Their music is characterized by catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, contributing to their widespread appeal. In 2009, the band announced their disbandment, performing farewell concerts and releasing a compilation album titled "Sweet Goodbyes." After a decade-long hiatus, Krezip reunited in 2019, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Pinkpop festival. They released new material, including the album "Sweet High," and resumed live performances, much to the delight of their fanbase. Their enduring popularity is evident through their continued success in the Dutch music scene. Watch more TMF videos ► https://bit.ly/MoreTMF Join us.
