Someone, somewhere, put a whole lot of time and care into hand piecing this particular project. It's a classic combo - red & white - always a winner, I think. The HARD part. Oooof. Hand pieced quilts are very seldom square. Or flat, Or have seams pressed in an organized fashion. All of this creates challenges for custom quilting. But I'm up for the challenge! In order to showcase a bit of each area for you, I've already loaded, basted, and quilted quite a large portion of this quilt. This will allow me to roll back and forth and quilt a number of different things, plus talk through some of the choices and techniques. In no particular order: wavy borders: to re-do or accept as is?
