This video introduces the CanEngage Network from the Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University. Australia has one of the best health systems in the world, but over 10 million people from multicultural communities find it difficult to access appropriate care. Established in 2019 by leading multicultural health researcher, Professor Reema Harrison, the CanEngage Network has unified people with lived experiences of healthcare inequities to design and deliver multi-award-winning projects that improve healthcare for their communities. People from more than 12 different cultural backgrounds with experience in cancer services, disability care and paediatrics form the heart of this highly engaged network.
