How to Build the Fokker Spin RC Model Airplane | Prototype This is a 28 inch wingspan radio control model airplane of the 1911 Fokker "Spin" trainer aircraft. Anthony Fokker was the designer of such famous World War I aircraft as the Eindecker, Fokker Triplane and D-VII. This indoor RC plane uses the popular ParkZone electronics and motor for ease of assembly. The video describes the design process for this model of the Spin along with a discussion of the test flight. "Spin" is the Dutch word for Spider, an apt description of the airplane with it's profusion of rigging and flying wires. Lessons learned with this prototype design will be used for a final and fully detailed version.
