Nickel Plate Trail 2014 Stabilized Upscaled 4k

I shot this video of the Nickel Plate Trail on July 4, 2014, when I first started filming entire bike trails. This was my first project. I shot it with a GoPro 3+, and as many of you know, there was no stabilization in those early cameras. I tried over the years to find post-production solutions. Final Cut Pro? Didn't make much of a difference. ReelSteady? Wouldn't work with my footage. GoPro Studio? Didn't have the metadata it needed to help. Finally in 2025, I gave Davinci Resolve 19 a try, and wow. Just wow. So, DR19 upscaled it to 4k, and the stabilization it accomplished was jaw dropping. I hope you enjoy this while riding your indoor cycling setup or just for relaxation. I'll be converting all of my other legacy trails on this channel in the near future.
