The ROBUST 600 horizontal double-sided splitting machine is intended for splitting logs up to 550 mm long and 600 mm wide. The ROBUST 600 enables highly productive splitting of logs of various diameters and lengths at the same time, without adjusting the machine. Loading and feeding of logs are mechanical, and the discharge of grafted firewood occurs automatically with each splitting movement. The split firewood is moved along the splitting machine to the left and right and is automatically poured into the transport pallet, before which it cleans the smaller chips. The result is compactly packed firewood in mesh bags, which significantly speeds up the process of firewood drying. The splitting assembly of the horizontal splitting machine has a pusher above the frame of the splitting assembly, which moves along the splitting table to a set of knives on each side of the splitting table. Each set of knives has a storage table on the opposite side. Attached to the pusher is a feed frame, the lower edge of which runs in the plane of the upper part of the set of knives and the upper part of the storage table on each side of the splitting table. The width of the feed frame is approximately equal to the width of the splitting table, and the length on one side of the pusher is approximately the length of the set of knives and the storage table.
