Here’s the infamous Tampa 1977 concert, as complete as possible. The band is firing on all cylinders before heavy rain forces them to take a “15 minute break”. 45 minutes later, the concert is called off, but the 70,000 impatient fans begin to chant “WE WANT ZEPPELIN! WE WANT ZEPPELIN!”. Afterwards there is a huge riot, resulting in 100 injured and 8 arrests. The promoters then ran a full page ad, it read: “ Concerts West apologises and is sorry for the humiliation and inconvenience to you and your faithful friends at Tampa Stadium, June 3, 1977. You did everything that you could and wanted to do so much more.
