Spacious, keenly priced and loaded with standard kit, it was a breath of fresh air in a market awash with £35k+ SUVs. Finally, we had a sensibly-priced supermini/hatchback that could offer something genuinely different. After much persuasion, BYD allowed us to spend a little longer with one to see what the Chinese hatchback is like to live with over an extended period. Our car is a 60kWh Design model and Nicola was the lucky presenter who grabbed the keys. During her three months with the Dolphin, she’s travelled the length and breadth of the country, and generally welcomed it into her lifestyle.
