The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway held their Autumn Steam Up event in October 2024. This mini Steam Gala had one visiting locomotive, that being: LBSCR A1X Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch. Fenchurch along with the home fleet operated various Passenger and Freight trains during the weekend. 0:00 We begin at Keighley where we see that the new Water Tower Visitor Centre has now been completed and is now open to the public. 0:11 LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45596 Bahamas departs Keighley with a Demonstration Goods for Oxenhope. It has spent the summer visiting Peak Rail and The Severn Valley Railway. 2:02 LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No 41241 arrives at Keighley with Empty Coaching Stock. It too has been on holiday this summer visiting Didcot Railway Centre and The Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway. 3:07 Backing into Keighley is LBSCR A1X Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch. She is visiting from The Bluebell Railway. 3:53 LBSCR Terrier No 72 Fenchurch is next seen at Oxenhope. Built in 1872 at Brighton, she was withdrawn in 1964 and is one of 2 Terriers under Bluebell ownership (The other being Stepney). 4:11 LBSCR Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch and LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No 41241 depart Oakworth for Keighley. 4:53 LNWR Coal Tank 0-6-2T No 1054 and LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45596 Bahamas arrive at Oakworth with a train for Oxenhope. Also seen is The Grafton Crane preparing to do a Demo run. 6:24 We see the Grafton Crane performing its demonstration. Built in 1945, it was used by the LNER for pernament way works. 8:38 LNWR Coal Tank 0-6-2T No 1054 and LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45596 Bahamas depart Ingrow West with a train for Keighley. Both engines are owned by The Bahamas Locomotive Society. 9:41 LBSCR Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch shunts its shuttle into the siding to allow other trains to pass. 10:57 LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45596 Bahamas arrives into Ingrow West with a service for Oxenhope. 11:43 LYR Class 25 0-6-0 No 52044 and LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No 41241 arrive and depart Ingrow West with a service for Keighley. 13:04 With the line clear, Fenchurch shunts its train for the journey back to Keighley. The shuttle is comprised of an SR Matchboard Coach and a Metropolitan Railway First Class Coach. 13:54 In a headout view, we see LBSCR Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch and LNWR Coal Tank 0-6-2T No 1054 climb out of Oakworth towards Mytholmes Tunnel. 15:41 LBSCR Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch and LNWR Coal Tank 0-6-2T No 1054 depart Haworth towards Oxenhope (Apoligies for the border as I had to crop this shot due to an elbow) 16:57 BR Class 08 Shunter No 08993 Ashburnham is seen shunting BR 2MT 2-6-0 No 78022 at Haworth Yard. Visible also is the new Bridge 27 which has only just been installed a few weeks ago. 19:05 BR 4MT 4-6-0 No 75078 passes Haworth Shed with a service for Oxenhope. This engine has a double chimney and a high sided tender for work on the Southern Region. 20:43 LBSCR Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch and LYR Class 25 0-6-0 No 52044 top and tail the Demo Goods through Ingrow West. 21:55 Near the mouth of Ingrow Tunnel, we see LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No 41241 and BR 4MT 4-6-0 No 75078 depart towards Oxenhope with a Passenger service. 22:45 LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45596 Bahamas arrives tender first into Ingrow West with a service for Keighley. 23:24 We end the video with LBSCR Terrier 0-6-0T No 72 Fenchurch and LYR Class 25 0-6-0 No 52044 departing Keighley with a service for Oxenhope.
