Cheap & Easy 4x4 DIY Swing Set Build - How To Build A Swing Set For Kids & Adults!

You can build this large, sturdy swing set in less than an hour! This swing set and the 3 swings I have cost me around $275. Strong Enough For Adults Too! I bought the metal swing set brackets on Amazon for around $50. The swings were also from Amazon. You can find links to what I used for this Swing Set Build below. But, as I mentioned in the video, I wish I had left it as a 12' long 4x6. That would have left more spacing between the swings. The swings on my swing set are spaced 16" apart. 16" is a minimum safe distance. 18" to 20" would be even better, if you can do it. The swing hangers for each swing are spaced 18" apart. AND, the swing hangers should be installed 18" from each end of the 4x6.
