An osteoma is a benign bone tumour which often occurs on the forehead. This is also called an osteoid osteoma. Standard approaches to removal leave a scar on the forehead skin which is not ideal especially in darker skin types. However, removal can be achieved without a visible scar with keyhole surgery.
