[4K] Messonghi (Beach, Plaza, Tavernn ) Corfu - Greece Messonghi has been hosting tourists for more than forty years, but in Ancient times the Romans took holidays there, making it one of the oldest resorts on the island. A small fishing village that still retains its unique charm, Messonghi has not been over developed. It is one of the most popular resorts because it appeals to so many people. During the summer months village life is centred around the beach, which is well organized with sunbeds and umbrellas to rent, the sea is clean and shallow with no strong current. There are beach bars for cold drinks, ice creams and snacks and fish tavernas for lunch and dinner. Away from the beach traditional restaurants serve Greek and Corfiot dishes, there are two well stocked supermarkets and a bakery. Evening entertainment can be found in the chilled bars in the village or on the beach. messonghi #corfu #greece
