Saudi Arabia is behind the exportation of Wahhabism, actively spending millions of dollars building all over the world mosques staffed with Wahhabi clerics and establishing madrassas all over the islamic world for the teaching and spread of this violent version of Islam. Indeed, the Taliban of Afghanistan are the glaring example of the influence of Wahhabi Islam. In the United States, it is estimated that 75% of the mosques built since 2001 have been financed and staffed with Wahhabi money: "By 2013, 75 percent of North American Islamic centers relied on Wahhabi preachers who promote anti-Western ideas in person and online through their sermons and through the Saudi-produced literature."
