Welcome to this complete 100% playthrough of The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield video game. There had been various Simpsons video games that released during the early years of the TV show, but this was the most comprehensive game by far. In 1997, The Simpsons was in season 8, so there are deep cut references to just about every single season leading up to it. This game is absolutely loaded to the gills with references and custom discoverables made specifically for the game. I cannot say enough great things about the depth the creators and writers went to, to make this truly a full Simpsons immersion. We took plenty of time to 100% the game by collecting all 75 cards and uncovering every single interactive component we could find. I even had to dig back into the wayback machine to find old references that I could barely remember. I did speed this section up. There is a one-minute clip that i muted, for copy reasons. It's an iconic song in the style of elevator music :) I have to image that this game was an inspiration for the bones of the Southpark Stick of Truth game as well (at least their environment with a ton of deep cut references and items).
