What if Ahsoka's Trial Led to a Jedi Civil War

What if Ahsoka's Trial Led to a Jedi Civil War? Let’s explore the depths of this scenario in the video. Ahsoka stares at the Padawan braid in her master's hand. She sees his smiling face as he offers it to her. Mace: We understand that the Force works in mysterious ways, and because of this trial, you have become a greater Jedi than you would have otherwise. Yoda: Back into the Order you may come. Anakin: They're asking you back, Ahsoka. I'm asking you back. Ahsoka looks at the braid that she’s worn on her head for almost three years now. Up until recently, it had been a source of pride and she would have jumped to wear it again. But this time it feels different. Slowly, she pushes it back into Anakin’s hand and shakes her head. Ahsoka: I'm sorry, Master, but I'm not coming back. She begins to walk away, leaving the Jedi Council in shock. They all look at one another, but only one move. Anakin chases after her, trying to change her mind, but Ahsoka is adamant. The council did not believe her when she needed them most. They did not even give her a chance to defend herself. How could she return to that? How could she ever be proud calling herself a Jedi if they are capable of doing something like that? Anakin understands her reasoning and offers to leave with her. At first, Ahsoka refuses, reminding Anakin that he still has a destiny to fulfill and that he’s already dedicated his life to them. But her master explains that he has his doubts about them too and how they can never fully trust him. After all of this, he questions whether he can trust them. As their departure becomes public in the Order, many more begin to follow. Young padawans who wonder if such a thing will happen to them, Jedi Knights who empathize with the ordeals the pair have gone through, and Masters who lament the state the Jedi Order is in to do such a thing. Soon hundreds of Jedi leave including big names like Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Aayla Secure who all empathized with the pair. Although Ahsoka initially wants to spend her time alone to try and sort this out on her own, seeing so many wayward Jedi leaving out of solidarity touches her. Anakin offers to lead these Jedi with the other masters helping him lead the new Order. This new Jedi Order would be named the Tanoans Jedi in honor of Ahsoka and focus on relief operations and combating crime and other local threats that have developed as the Republic is too focused on the war. The Jedi are left humiliated by this loss, especially with so many respected Jedi leaving with them. They settle on Onderon thanks to Ahsoka’s connections with Senator Lux Bonteri. Palpatine welcomes any chance to weaken the Jedi, especially if it means, reaching out to corrupt Anakin. He visits Anakin and forms an agreement with the Republic where the Tanoans agree to help in relief aid to Republic-held worlds. The chancellor spares no expenses in helping them, providing them with the funding and relief goods that the Jedi were short on. This creates the idealized version of the Jedi, the ones the galaxy wants to see. They are hailed as heroes, being seen as the true followers of the Jedi Code and helping countless worlds across the galaxy. However, this aid isn’t for everyone, as this agreement is only meant for Republic worlds. Those part of the CIS, even former members receive little help. Ahsoka learns this from her friend, Lux Vonteri whose contacts in the CIS Senate reveal they are starving from the war. When she hears this, Ahsoka immediately calls for action to be made to extend help to these worlds too. Ahsoka: I opposed the Jedi because they politicized everything, even their values. Yet here we are preparing to do the same thing. The people of Rytloh are no different from those of Desix or Cato Nemoidia. We have to act. Many Tanoans nod in agreement with this assessment, but not all are convinced. Anakin: Ahsoka, I agree with your sentiment, but things are not so simple. They are still enemies of the Republic. Ahsoka: What about the worlds we captured? Lux tells me that they’re receiving half the aid we gave to full Republic World if they receive anything at all. Anakin: There aren’t enough supplies to go around. Not everyone can get aid at the moment. Ahsoka: Yes, but it seems like we’re playing favorites. This remains a sticking point between the two with the Tanoans divided between the two. But within the Tanoan Order, although Ahsoka remains the figurehead as the martyred Jedi, Anakin is the true leader and many opt to follow him instead. Those who don’t follow Ahsoka spend more time with Lux as they try to distribute resources more equitably. This leads them to Desix which remains part of the CIS but is remote enough that they don’t receive support. This is in direct violation of the treaty Anakin and Palpatine signed, though Ahsoka is not technically a Jedi. Palpatine tries to placate the situation, #starwars #starwarswhatif #starwarstheory
