ALERT UPDATE 2/4/2021: DHS has delayed the effective date of this rule to Dec. 31, 2021 https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-relea... H-1B visas this year will only be given to the highest paid professional employees. A new Waged Based Selection Process was made a final rule January 8, 2021 and is set to go into effect March 9, 2021. The Biden Administration has asked USCIS to delay implementation of this new H1b selection system for 60 days, but that will only take it to March 21, 2021. Watch this video for all the details of this NEW H1b selection process that will change the H1b lottery process of the past. The H1b registration system will be updated to reflect the new requirements that force US employers to state which Wage Level the beneficiary professional employee will be paid. This effects only cap subject H-1b petitions.
