We were psyched to film such an inspiring event featuring professional skateboarder and motivational speaker, Brandon Novak, at Bright Future Recovery Avila Heights. Brandon shares his personal journey of addiction and recovery, including his time as a cast member of the popular TV show Jackass (with stars like Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera) and his ongoing struggles with substance abuse and alcoholism. Brandon's story is one of hope and perseverance, as he has now been sober for 8 years and travels around to different addiction treatment centers to share his story. We are SO grateful for Bright Future Recovery, and their CEO Cheree Ashley, who designed an amazing event to inspire those in addiction recovery and encourage them to stay on the path of sobriety. This event inspired the two of us to the max, and reminded us why we really do this work.
