At first glance, Mothman might look like a weird mix of mechanics… but once you understand how rad counters work, things start to get out of control very quickly. By spreading radiation across the entire table, we force our opponents to mill cards every single turn and every one of those mill triggers gets converted into +1/+1 counters across our board. That means we’re not just disrupting our opponents libraries… we’re also building a massive, snowballing board state at the same time. The more the table mills… the worse it gets. This deck focuses on maximizing individual mill triggers, turning those triggers into counters, and then converting those counters into even more value through powerful synergies. The result is a deck that scales naturally over time, becomes harder to stop the longer the game goes on, and can win either through overwhelming board presence or sustained pressure from rad counters.
