*NEW CONVERSION* Ride on First Leicester' Wright StreetDeck Newpower EV, 70102 (OIG 1792) - Route 54

Here's the first video on the first of the all newly powered Wright StreetDecks to enter service in Leicester. This is First Leicester' Wright StreetDeck Newpower EV 70102 working route 54 to Leicester City Centre from Beaumont Centre My first personal views I am so far impressed with this, it runs very smoothly and very well, also seeming to have a slightly different electric motor to it compared to the Electroliner variants, only downside is a bit of rattling and the suspension is a bit rough, but it doesn't take away how nice this looks. Sadly this was the best of videos I could get with the bus gradually getting more busy, so I had to get a video before it got worse 70102 is a former First West of England diesel motored Daimler StreetDeck, formerly numbered as 35146 (SN65 OMP) in Bristol. To my surprise, it's still carrying the remains of the red interior branding from its Bristol days So far it's looking very promising for the Newpower StreetDecks and I'm certainty looking forward to the rest of the former SK16s to return from Bicester after their conversion If you haven't already, please make sure you like and subscribe for more content like this on the Leicester & UK Bus Videos channel Hope you enjoy this first video on 70102 :)
