This is the original Viogression lineup: Brian DeNeffe - voice Leon Schendel - guitars Bryan Jaeger - bass & backing voice Jef Jaeger - drums This video was recorded in the band's rehearsal room in January of 1990. The audio track is from the Execution demo tape and was recorded in March of 1990. The Execution demo has been remastered and reissued in 2020 as part of the compilation album 'Viogression - Perception Blur: The Early Demos 1988-1990' released by Thrashing Corpse Records and HPGD Productions (horrorpaingoredeath.com). It is a 30th anniversary release of this material. It can also be found on disc #2 of the 2020 Hammerheart release 'Viogression - Expound And Exhort' (30th anniversary reissue) CD (hammerheart.com). The audio soundtrack on this video is taken from the HPGD release. Jef Jaeger and Leon Schendel started the band in Appleton, WI in 1988 with Paul Jaeger playing bass. Bryan Jaeger soon replaced Paul, and the band changed its name to Apocalypse. The band relocated to Milwaukee in 1989 with a new 2-song demo and added Brian DeNeffe as vocalist. The band changed its name to Viogression and recorded a 4-song demo entitled 'Perception Blur' in October of 1989. 'Execution' was the second 4-song demo - recorded in March of 1990. Eric Johnston was added as a second guitar player shortly after, and in May of 1990, Barry Jaeger replaced Jef Jaeger on drums, and Jef went on to join Morta Skuld.
