It's a bit of a longer video today to fit in the Intense tutorial. But you should get a lot of information from it. Painting fabric with Inktense blocks makes a really lovely background for embroidery. I'm just using some old, white cotton bed sheet to paint on. Preparing the fabric beforehand and also other techniques are explored for using the fabric to make a book. I'm using Inktense Blocks to colour the fabric. These are a water soluble ink that is colourfast once dry. It's a great way to colour fabric for use in sewing projects. This is the set that I have. I find them easier to use than the pencils. https://www.derwentart.com/en-gb/p/23... The backing I'm using is a double sided fusible interfacing called Bondaweb in the UK. I think it's known as WunderUnder in other places. https://www.empressmills.co.uk/bondaweb I also am well on with hand quilting the Calm Blue Ocean quilt now. So there's more information on that too. Link to the original mystery quilt a long that I followed 10 years ago! http://sillygoosequilts.blogspot.com/...
