He is from an unknown plane and little is know about his history. We know he is a father to two daughters that he misses dearly, has the magic the summon flaming hot chains, and has a fiery temper. After accidentally trapping himself while visiting Ixalan, thanks to the Immortal Suns effect, Angrath joined and eventually became Captain of a Pirate Crew.
