We tried Odie's Oil, so you don't have to. It's expensive - is it worth the cost? In this video, we apply two coats of Odie's Oil to five different wood items over a three week period, and check back to see how they fare after curing. We review how you are supposed to apply it (what they really mean by "buff on, buff off") and whether or not it stands up to a few drops of water after two coats. Spoiler alert: there is no "one size fits all" miracle finish, and this video includes some of the reasons you might not want to use Odie's. There are a lot of finishes out there, and it's hard to know which are the best ones if you aren't trying all of them! Subscribe to receive alerts when we publish our next wood finish review.
