Broken Ribs from Stupid MX Crash

Crashed my dirt bike and ended up with 3 broken ribs, a pulmonary contusion and a laceration to my lung that caused some internal bleeding and swelling. This is my first serious injury from motocross and I'm amazed that all this happened from this crash. I must have landed hard perfectly on my ribcage. Sucks that it happened but oh well, it's part of the sport, and now I need to rest for 6-8 weeks. I haven't liked the front end feel of my 2005 KX250 since the day I bought it. It feels like it has a mind of its own and will go wherever it wants. That may have contributed to the crash so I'm definitely going to make some bike changes before I ride it again.
