This journey through Matiari, Juranpur, Kaliganj, Palashi, and Debagram isn’t just a ride; it’s a front-row seat to the evolving landscape of our heritage. As I lean into the curves of the road, the world transforms into a vibrant canvas. There is a unique thrill in the transition between the smooth, high-speed stretches of the National Highway and the narrow, winding village paths. On the NH, I feel the raw power of the bike and the rush of the wind; on the local roads, I feel the pulse of the land—passing local markets, waving to children, and smelling the woodsmoke from village kitchens. Reaching Palashi (Plassey) adds a layer of weight to the journey. Riding past the historic battlegrounds where the fate of India once changed creates a powerful sense of connection to the past. It’s a reminder that every mile of this soil has a story to tell. There’s a certain meditation in motorcycling.
