Description Basanti Kheer is a rich, aromatic Indian dessert made with fragrant basmati rice, milk, saffron, and sugar. Its beautiful yellow colour represents prosperity and positivity, making it a perfect sweet dish for Basant Panchami, the festival that welcomes spring and is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati.
