Today’s Heartopia session was a slower one — and honestly, that’s exactly what I needed. In this 50-minute cozy gameplay, I fed my cats and dog, completed my daily quests, and made sure the wild animals were taken care of. We even have limited-time penguins right now (which I’m absolutely obsessed with). They’re only here for a short time, so of course I had to visit them. There’s also a special event happening with My Little Pony–inspired outfits and vehicles, which are SO cute… but I promised myself I’m not spending real money in this game again. I already did that once for the cutest yellow bicycle with a basket and flowers, and that’s enough for me 😂 Now I’m proudly cruising around on my pink moped instead. If you noticed I’ve been gone for a bit, my hiatus was because I was hospitalized for a skin infection and had foot surgery to remove it. I’ve been discharged, but I’m not 100% better yet. My CK levels were high before discharge, so I still need to get those checked and monitored. Healing is taking time, and I’m trying to be gentle with myself. That’s why games like Heartopia mean so much to me right now. There’s no pressure. No rush. Just soft routines, cozy tasks, and peaceful island moments. It’s been a comforting space while I recover.
