That being said, I wanted to give my 2 cents on which camera you should get. With the recent price drop, the Komodo has become a more attractive camera for people looking to make the jump. I still have my Komodo, so I decided to compare the 2 from my perspective based on what I've actually experienced. 0:00 - Intro 0:30 - the komodo price drop 0:50 - the size difference 2:00 - the media, cfast2.0 vs cfexpress type b 3:00 - what has a better image? (honestly) 3:55 - RedRaw vs. BRAW (both are RAW) 5:00 - both are highly cinematic, the Komodo's recent FW update 6:00 - the battle of the $3000 cameras ! 7:00 - komodo x is more future proof than OG komodo 7:20 - the pyxis 6k is newer, will likely be supported longer than komodo 7:55 - what should you actually buy? 8:47 - pyxis is better overall value 8:59 - if you really want to own a RED, this is the time 9:29 - these are just base prices, you'll spend more either way 10:00 - both cameras are great, don't let videos fool you 10:45 - rant/outro (canon 5d mark 3) For all business inquiries hit me up directly via the11thour.com/contact All visual content on this channel unless explicitly stated is owned exclusively by us, contact us directly for any video licensing inquiries you may have.
