Relaxing Palette Knife Painting ASMR: Watch as I create a luminous painting of a raven in a tree softly lit by the moon using oil paint, palette knife, and a little bit of brushing. For this painting, I experimented with using a cold wax medium with oil paints on a wood board. The referenced I used was in daylight and didn't provide much detail. so a lot of this came from my imagination and from experimenting. I thought about the colors that seemed to say moonlight to me, and mixed them up and painted. Overall I think I discovered some interesting effects and a lot of potential for this waxy medium applied with palette knives.
