Please describe your typical client. How sophisticated do you need to be to get involved? There is no typical clients; clients who see an opportunity do want to get involved in trading. What is the average holding period? It varies a lot - some clients hold for months while others hold positions for just a couple of hours. What the typical lifetime as a trader - and holding periods - are things (holding times) getting faster or slower? We feel the holding times are now getting faster because there is now more opportunities to take advantage of in the current environment. What sort of stakes are your clients trading for? Typically we see a lot of GBP1 to GBP5 point trades but our majority of trades are between GBP5 and GBP20 a point. We see a lot more short-term trades when the stakes are raised.
