Full game longplay of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown, AKA R6 Letdown, a tactical (yeah, sure) FPS game, released in September 2005 for the PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox. Pc version was released on February 2006. This is a longplay of the Xbox version, running in 480p display mode, with an internal widescreen enabled. Xbox version includes 14 missions, while all others include 16. Consoles include pre-rendered cutscenes focusing on the Rainbow Six soldiers' characters, and on some bombastic terrorist action. Also they include the Sniper segments, where you play as Dieter Weber and cover your teammates from afar. After those segments, your standard team starts with health they had on the end of the Sniper fragment. Plus, console versions included collectibles in a form of suitcases worth in-game Intel points, with which you can buy weapons, skins, cheat codes, videos etc. PC version is the first PC R6 game to not include a planning phase at all. No cutscenes, no sniper battles, levels are non-linear, as in there is not one correct way to complete them as opposed to the console versions. Fun fact: PC version is the one that got NAILED DOWN in the reviews, as being a proverbial nail in the coffin for the series, from which, dare I say while having in mind Vegas games, never really recovered and lost touch with it's roots. Naturally, or as per usual, Xbox version is the best console version and overall too, with most features and best multiplayer. Perhaps a lowest point of the entire Rainbow Six series, not including the yet to come in 2022 co-op bullshit called Extraction, is the least tactical, thinking-is-needed entry. It's also, and so help me God, the easiest Rainbow Six game that I have ever played. Hell, even Ghost Recon 1 saga on the Recruit difficulty is much harder than this. Here I was thinking I am about to get clapped on, hard. But no, I just run and gun, with a clearly overpowered MP7SD, basically a god weapon, with very little inaccuracy and deadly damage. There is actually no need for any other gun in the game. This one little machine gun is all you need. Which, well, is kinda realistic when it comes to anti-terrorist forces, but come the fuck on, it's a game and literally the most basic gun is the most effective, and easiest to shoot with. Do note, I played on a Normal Difficulty, all the aiming/features that were enabled by default were turned on, didn't change anything, just straight Normal difficulty. My habit of quicksaving/quickloading every Ghost Recon/Rainbow Six game got the better of me.
