How to make kerala style coconut chutney/Kerala coconut chutney for idli,dosa /Coconut chutney

‪@Maryzkitchen‬ #chutney #keralarecipes #idli #coconut INGREDIENTS Grated Coconut – 1 cup Shallots – 4 Ginger grated – 1 inch size Green chilli – 2 or 3 or as per taste Salt to taste Water – ½ cup Oil – 1 tbsp [ coconut oil ] Shallots chopped – 3 Red chilli – 2 Curry leaves – few Mustard seeds – ½ tsp Urad dal – ½ tsp *Use freshly grated coconut .   METHOD Take coconut +  ginger +  shallots + green chilli + salt in a mixie jar and grind . Add ½ cup water and grind into a smooth paste. Transfer it into a bowl.Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds and urad dal and let them crackle . Then add shallots, red chilly and curry leaves. Fry until crispy and golden brown.  Pour it over on chutney curry and give a mix . Serve as an accompaniment for southindian breakfast .
