Biosphere 2 is the largest laboratory for global ecology ever built. from 1991 to 1993 eight people lived inside this closed ecological system for two years. Four of the eight member crew give elementary school children across North America a tour of their miniature world under glass. The program was transmitted from the Biosphere 2 site via satellite on Earth Day 1993, one and a half years into the Mission.
