DOPE’s Got It B.A.D... SoCal Budtender Party Celebrates the Industry | The official launch of DOPE Magazine’s Budtender Appreciation Day party (B.A.D. Party) in Southern California took place on March 12th at the Container Yard in downtown Los Angeles. This exclusive party was about showing love and appreciation for the budtenders of the cannabis community that make this industry possible, hence the name “Budtender Appreciation Day.” Hosted in one of the hippest districts in L.A. in perfect 72-degree weather, this party boasted an unparalleled vibe, with artistic expression spewing from all angles. Guests at this event sported smiles from ear to ear, and said the party was a smoker’s paradise. Sponsors went above and beyond, hosting topical massages, dab bars, joint rolling contests and so much more. Presenting Sponsor Northern Emerald, and Supporting Sponsors Papa & Barkley, Crafted Cannabis, Marley Natural, Cannabis Trading Center, W Vapes and Incredibles hooked up swag bags the likes of which no cannabis party has ever seen. Bags were stuffed with every product under the sun, thanks to our generous sponsors and local donors like Moon Edibles, 3C Farms and the Cannabal City Collective. Guests were given full jars of the region’s tastiest flower, topical samples, edibles, vape pens, DOPE Magazine’s killer April issue, the first ever commemorative B.A.D. Party event pin, and so much more. Upon entrance, guests were greeted with a communal graffiti canvas to make their mark. DJ Tele Fresco carried the vibe the entire night, The Taco Man served up bacon-wrapped street dogs and their infamous tacos, while Coolhaus had people lined up for custom ice cream sandwiches all night long. Bong Pong, air hockey, skee ball and other games brought people together—DOPE’s way of giving back to those that carry the cannabis community. As DOPE’s first event in Southern California, the B.A.D.
