In fact, the OTOFIX company is owned by Autel and uses all Autel software and firmware. This device is designed to be used along with an OTOFIX OBD2 scan tool, or you can download the Autel battery tester app and use this battery tester along with your smart device. (phone or tablet) The Autel version of this same product is called the Autel BT506. In this video, I give a demonstration of how to use this device. The Autel battery software generates a nice test report that can be saved via PDF format and then it can be shared via email, or with a QR code via cloud service. (no charge) The battery report can also be printed directly from you scan tool or smart phone if you have wireless printing setup on your local network.
