This video is about slow living, comfort, and finding joy in simple moments — from home cooking to quiet parks, city walks, and a touch of magic. I am a solo woman over 50, learning to enjoy life at my own pace, without rushing and without postponing happiness. 🍎 Cooking a Childhood Recipe I prepared a traditional apple dumplings recipe I’ve loved since childhood. These handmade apple dumplings are similar to Polish or Eastern European dumplings — soft, comforting, and filled with memories. Cooking slowly, with my hands, brings calm and connection to the past. ❄️ A Gentle Winter Day That day, light snow fell softly and disappeared within an hour. The temperature was around +1°C, creating a quiet winter atmosphere that invited slowing down. 🌿 St James’s Park, London I walked through St James’s Park, feeding squirrels and enjoying one of the calmest places in central London — especially peaceful on weekdays. Nature, animals, and stillness create comfort even in a busy city. 🥐 Claridge’s Bakery I visited the bakery by Claridge’s Hotel, where bread and desserts are made in a Parisian-style bakery. Fresh bread, delicate pastries, and elegant simplicity made this moment feel warm and grounding. 🚡 London Cable Car (O2 to Greenwich) I also experienced the IFS Cloud Cable Car, crossing the River Thames and enjoying gentle views of London from above. Seeing the city slowly pass beneath felt peaceful and reflective. 🪄 Harry Potter Studio Visit Later, I visited the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Walking through the sets, props, and magical details reminded me that wonder and imagination don’t disappear with age. 🌿 Slow Living from Village to City This video is a reminder that slow living isn’t about where you are — it’s about how you experience the moment. ✨ Don’t postpone life. Notice the small things. Find joy now. #SlowLiving #SoloWoman #Over50Lifestyle #ComfortFood #AppleDumplings #StJamesPark #ClaridgesBakery #LondonCableCar #HarryPotterStudio #LifeInLondon #SimpleJoy
