Master bass player and friend of Guitar Hangar Paul Deedon demos a vintage Mutron III Envelope filter effects pedal. This analog envelope filter pedal, first made in 1972, is one of the greats. Used by Jerry Garcia, Bootsy Collins, Stevie Wonder, and a whole host of talented musicians, the Mu-Tron III allows for low-pass, bandpass, and high-pass filter responses. Whatever instrument you choose to throw at the Mu-Tron III, it'll take and produce a glorious array of tones. ________________________________________________________ This video is from the Guitar Hangar archives. The instrument or piece of gear featured in this video was sold long ago and is no longer available. BUT… Guitar Hangar has a huge selection of new and used instruments and effects pedals in our Brookfield, CT location. Check out our current selection at http://guitarhangar.com More about the Guitar Hangar Archives: Back in 2012, Google updated and changed some of the features in YouTube and Google+. During this change, Guitar Hangar somehow ended up with two distinct Google+ pages, and two distinct YouTube channels. For over 6 years, we did not have control over this "old" Guitar Hangar YouTube channel. But thanks to our office manager relentlessly pestering the folks over at Google+ for the past 6 years, our admin rights to this channel have finally been restored! Over the next few months, we will be migrating our old videos over from our other YouTube channel so all your favorite product demos will be available in one place. Most of the products demonstrated in these videos were sold years ago, but we have a huge in-store inventory and we're constantly expanding our used and vintage departments.
