As part of our Canada road trip, we stopped by Winnipeg, which is basically the province of Manitoba's capital. In conjunction with the tourism board, we explored some of the best attractions Winnipeg has to offer, and we ate in some pretty cool locations! We stayed at the Alt Hotel too, which was in a great location and even had parking suitable for Helen (a win!) All the places we visited included: The Manitoba Museum https://manitobamuseum.ca/ : a great place to learn about the region's history and learn more about the indigenous history and communities! The Forks: A place full of history and now modern vibes. There's a really cool market inside with food, drinks, and gifts available. The Forks itself is also a really great place to wander in the evening. https://www.theforks.com/ Thermea Spa: A nordic experience in Canada. An amazing spot with great pools, spa facilities and food! https://www.thermea.ca/ Assiniboine Park Zoo: their journey to Churchill experience is amazing! and we love the work they are doing to rescue and learn more about animals. https://www.assiniboinepark.ca/zoo/vi... The Canadian Musuem of Human Rights: an excellent spot to learn how human rights have evolved around the world, and a stark reminder of some of the terrible injustices people have to deal with, sill daily. https://humanrights.ca/ We really loved exploring these spots, and had a great time in Winnipeg! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who are we?
