After leaving the boat yard in Key West, we eventually landed at Port Sanibel Marina in Punta Rassa, just before the Sanibel Causeway. From there, we go re-adjusted to living on a boat at a dock again, before starting to knock out more overdue boat maintenance projects. We thought we were going to close out another hurricane season, but Tropical Storm Eta decided to make an appearance near our coast. In a Rush? As you can see here, this trip was no fun, so we are fixing the issue to put this problem behind us. With family coming into town, we had to first deal with a tropical storm skirting up our coast. While we didn’t take a direct hit, we certainly had some strong winds and storm surge to contend with, as we had a big boat in a small slip on non-floating docks.
