It was a picture perfect Sunday around central Ohio, with lots of sunshine and nice temperatures, but that pattern will only last for one more day! Expect to see continued clear skies as we head through early Monday, with temps falling as a result. Temps for most will be down into the 30s and 40s once again for sunrise Monday morning. Sunshine will dominate the Monday forecast, and it will be even warmer than where we left the weekend. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s on Monday and should reach the 80s on Tuesday. This is all ahead of our next weather maker set to arrive for Tuesday afternoon and evening. As a cold front arrives into Ohio on Tuesday, it will kick off a round of showers and thunderstorms. These storms are expected to peak around the late afternoon and early evening, with a line of strong to severe storms likely to move through the region. For these reasons a 10TV Weather Impact Alert Day has been issued for the second half of the day Tuesday. Right now, there is a Level 3 risk for severe weather across much of the 10TV viewing area, as storms could produce large hail and damaging wind gusts. An isolated tornado or heavy rainfall could also impact the region, but large hail and wind look to be our primary threats. These storms are coming during the evening commute for many, so make sure you're sticking with 10TV and the 10TV app for the latest updates before you head out! Cloudy skies and scattered showers continue for Wednesday, with another round of more widespread rain and storms by Thursday, and more rain that may linger into Friday. The good news is that this next round of storms is not expected to be severe as of writing. Temperatures will cool back to the 60s by Friday and continue this way into next weekend. Next weekend looks to feature dry conditions and a fair amount of sunshine with some clouds.
