I've created a set of presets for After Effects that allow you to instantly add realistic shadows to any layer with controls that make it extremely easy to manipulate their appearance. You can even use a single layer as a controller for all the layers that use the presets in a comp at once AND use the position of the controller to control which direction the shadows are being cast!
