The Most Beautiful Neighbourhood in Paris 🇫🇷 Montmartre Crepes & Fun with Tamil Friends

Exploring Montmartre in December was truly special. Since it was winter, the sunset was around 4:30 pm, which gave the neighbourhood a beautiful golden glow before the evening lights took over. Montmartre is easily one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods to explore in Paris. It is quite hilly, but that is part of its charm. It even reminded me of scenes from *The Summer I Turned Pretty*, where Isabel (Belly) stays in Paris with her room facing the Sacré-Cœur cathedral. One of the highlights was renting an automated city cycle to explore the area. The ride through Montmartre was amazing and made it easier to get around the hills. It was slightly on the expensive side though. For just 20 minutes we paid 8 euros, which is around 857.73 INR or 6.93 GBP. Still, the experience was worth it. Later we grabbed a crepe while strolling along the banks of the Seine River. It cost only 5 euros, was freshly made, and totally worth it for that spot. One thing I love about Paris is how people enjoy life by the river. Parisians often go near the Seine with their friends, sit together, share wine, and simply enjoy the moment. The Seine River will always be my number one spot in Paris. I love how open and beautiful it is, and how you can just go and sit by the river whenever you feel like it. During summer, they even open a particular area for locals to swim. Overall, Paris has so much to offer and every street feels like a new discovery. The fashion culture here is also incredible. To match the level of fashion among the locals is a real challenge. Fashion and art come first here, and you can easily spot a Parisian just by their clothes and style. Paris will forever hold my love, and I am happy to have documented it.
