This video contains instructions and demos of the PONG's Reverse Penhold Forehand (RPF) technique. RPF is an alternative way to hit forehand balls other than the conventional technique, it's not meant to replacing the conventional style. Pong's RPF offers a fast and powerful option that users will find it natural to use once get proficient at it, there might be the ergonomic factor that explains the comfort and power. One distinct feature of the RPF is, one can hit very short balls at an acutely wide angle to the forehand side of opponent yet still be able to range balls to the backhand side of your opponents. Example of one other advantage of the Pong's RPF is, one'd be able to 'scoop up' balls dropping low forehand side and return them to opponent ( not demo'ed in this video). Penholding style players are encouraged to learn and explore the potentials thereby benefiting from other aspects of the Pong's RPF technique. New users that already possesses solid fundamentals of the penholing style of ping pong will take about one week to learn and launch; perhaps another few more weeks to integrate RPF into one's game thoroughly. ( remark: Mr Pong, whose name is coincidentally same as the game of ping pong, is the author of this set of techniques )
