Dyrehaven, in the middle of the forest lies Bakken, the world's oldest amusement park. Since Kirsten Piil discovered the healing source more than 400 years ago, Bakken has attracted millions of summer-happy guests from near and far. Today, Bakken is the second most visited attraction in Denmark with more than 32 running rides, games, revues and a host of eateries still run by dedicated tents and their families. Bakken first opened in 1583 and to this day it is still one of Denmark's most visited amusement park. We tried all the wild rides and although they are a bit old and shaky there is still a lot of speed going on so you still get a decent ride.
