Run and Jump Basketball Defense, the run and jump Basketball defense is an advanced level full court and half court Basketball press defense. In this Run and Jump Basketball Press Defense your going to start with the defense looking like a man to man defense. Once the player who is dribbling the Basketball starts in a single direction the following defender on the opposite side will follow and then if the Basketball is passed to that far side, the opposite side defender who was following will double the wing player who now has the Basketball. After this happens in the Run and Jump defense you will have the player who was playing on ball will be defending the 2 other players and blocking each of their passing lanes. While in the half court press the defense works the same along the perimeter so that the wings get double teamed.
