While every style definitely has it's place, here at JKMoto Entertainment we are of the opinion that stretched and lowered bikes just aren't that useful! Luckily when we got this Yamaha R6 delivered we were told to return her to stock form as far as height and wheel base. So in this video we will removing the swingarm extensions and shortening the chain to return the 2008 R6 to stock wheel base! Unfortunately in this model year range, Yamaha decided to be a little different and use a different style chain tensioner, and when the swingarm extenders got installed these parts did not continue their journey with the bike. So we did have to wait for some parts to come in, but other than that it was a relatively smooth process so enjoy!!
