As the days get a bit longer and the winter turns from spring and summer, it is always important to have a lightweight hoody in your pack. The temps can swing and the trails seem to get longer so it is important to have a versatile jacket that is good for multiple conditions. I was sent the Mountain Equipment Lumiko Hooded Jacket to put it to the test. Here is my review. Fit: The Stretch Fleece is a really nice fit. It is more of an athletic fit that is snug to the body without being restrictive. Weight: Only 9.5 ounces make this a really nice jacket to keep in the pack for those cold spring days or summer mornings. Warmth: What good is a jacket that won't keep you warm. Despite the thin nature of this jacket, the fleece is really warm. It also is quick drying to help keep you comfortable on the hike.
