[Filmed 1:43pm May 11, 2021] I was originally going to film this train at N Street but it and Capitol Ave had an early activation malfunction right away as soon as the Z-Train came around the corner at Broadway down the line so I quickly road my bike down to O St fast nearly breaking my tripod because I didn't want to film after the gates have lowered. My camera tripod piece unscrewed a little loose also from the vibrations of riding my bike so it was a little bouncy in this video. Hot temperatures are triggering the track sensors that activate the N St and now also Capitol Ave also to not activate at the appropriate time as this crossing has had every year prior around when hot temps come and now it has expanded to Capitol Ave. It also caused both to be stuck down after the train passed as you can see at the very end when I zoom in N Street and Capitol Avenue both were still down. About a minute after I stopped recording both raised so both had an early activation and a late deactivation malfunction. This crossing is an WPRR 1950s signal build install with changes to its lights, and gates.
