This is explaining how soon and how big a bike you can ride! Things changed in 2013 - before then you could do a test on a 125 and ride bigger bikes. Can't do that now - have to take bigger Category tests on our bigger bikes. Does help you get used to them so less likely to drop yours cos of the weight or crash cos the throttle has so much power connected compared with a 125. Real Riders - we are still doing CBTs but at this time in 2020 the DVSA have had to cancel all theory and practical tests. Hopefully things will get better at some point and they will 'open' test centres!
